“Murdochville, QC, population: 651. One gas station, one cat ski operation and one ski resort. After coming back from a day of splitboarding in the Chic-Chocs, I did a double take when I saw the cat stroll through the Shell Station for a casual top up. But when the gas station is located right next door to the cat ski operation, and the tenure is located just across the highway, it all makes sense in the last frontier of Northern Quebec.” Photo: Ryan Creary
