Ben Dietermann
Ben Dietermann was raised in Jestetten, Germany, next to the Swiss-German border with the Alps in constant sight. He built his first snowboard by hand with his father at age 7 and from then on his focus was on time in the mountains. While studying wood engineering, Ben returned to board building and went all in. Nowadays, Ben has his own workshop in southern Germany’s Allgäu region. From there he operates his own brand, Konvoi, which specializes in powsurfers and 3D-shaped snowboards and splitboards. When Ben isn’t scoring in his local backcountry bowls, building one-of-a-kind skate ramps or traveling, he also does board-developing work for other brands.
Benjamin Littler
Benjamin Littler is a photographer currently based in Salt Lake City. Originally from Syracuse, NY, he learned to make images from his grandfather Bob Miles on a Pentax K1000 in the rolling farmlands of the North Country. First picking up a snowboard in late elementary school, he developed a passion for riding that remains a major part of his life today. When he’s not working as a bartender at Bar-X, Benjamin is out nearly every day working on various photo projects, which he shoots exclusively on film. John Grinter
Growing up exploring and fishing the shallow waters and mangroves of South Florida, John Grinter started carrying a camera at an early age. He has worked as a fishing guide, boat captain and environmental activist, but his best job has been being a parent and sharing his love of adventure with his family. He currently works as a knife sharpener in Washington state. His writing and photography have appeared in Audubon Magazine, Snowboarder Magazine, Town and Country Magazine, the Orange County Register and numerous other outlets.
Axel Adolfsson
Axel Adolfsson was born and raised in the flatlands of southwest Sweden by parents with high academic merits. The plan for Axel was to graduate from a top university with a master’s degree in engineering, but things didn’t go as planned. After the third of five years at Chalmers University of Technology, Axel dropped out and went to the Alps to follow his dream of photographing snowsports in the mountains. Axel’s work can now be seen in magazines around the world and in campaigns for Helly Hansen and Haglöfs. Axel lives on his boat on Lake Vättern during the summer months and will spend the fall in Stockholm. During winter, he’ll travel to places unknown.
