Bradley Albert
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Bradley Albert developed a love for the mountains as a freestyle skier at Stratton Mountain Resort, VT. He attended Waterville Valley Academy and later the University of Vermont. Brad was on the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team and coached Team Breckenridge before transitioning from skiing to snowboarding and becoming Ride Snowboards’ first sales rep in 1992. In ’94 Brad founded E11even Design Collective in Vail, CO, with Andrew “Woo” Roberts, art-directing ads, board graphics and logos. At E11even Brad began shooting and publishing photos under the pseudonym Alberto Bresson. Upon completing heli-guide training in 2001, Brad began guiding in Haines, AK, that same year, but hit a submerged rock and fractured four of his lower vertebrae. So Brad traded the mountains for the ocean, moved to Maui in 2002, and currently lives in Haiku, HI, where he’s launching his own company, Your Life On Solar. In his free time Bradley goes surfing and shoots skate clips of his son, Tosh, on Instagram @skatetrooper7.
Shane Carrick
Though he doesn’t sport the bumper sticker, Shane Carrick hails from Colorado. He was born in Aspen, grew up in Ouray and currently resides in Ridgway. He started skiing at the age of 2 and then brought shame upon his hardcore ski family when he began snowboarding at 15. As a lifelong skateboarder, he helps run the skate nonprofit Make Life Skate Life and is still in disbelief that he gets money to do that. He is a team rider for Ogasaka Snowboards in Japan, master’s student in nonprofit leadership at the University of Denver, devoted yoga practitioner, fidgety meditator, happy husband and new father. He deleted his Instagram but then started a TikTok, which he is too embarrassed to tell you the name of.
Jeff Hawe
Jeff Hawe grew up riding in the Rocky Mountain West, starting at Winter Park, CO, before moving to Montana where he studied photography and English at the state university in Bozeman. The first publication of his photos in frequency The Snowboarder’s Journal, circa 2004, set off a career documenting snowboarding in visual and written works, including frequent contributions to this publication. He now resides in Honolulu, where he is equidistant from the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and Japan, and he makes strike missions for pow when conditions align. Jeff strongly believes that community is what makes snowboarding special, and he aims to continue contributing to it. Find him at @jeffhawefoto.

Keegan Rice
Raised in the northeast, photographer and reggae enthusiast Keegan Rice migrated to Jackson, WY, after high school. He started his own photography business, Keegan Rice Photography, and creates images of a variety of subjects, both commercially and editorially. His favorite things to shoot are action sports and portraiture, drawing on the environment for inspiration. His work has taken him around the world to places such as Alaska, Japan, Australia and the Caribbean. While commercial photography generally pays the bills, Keegan’s heart is aligned with the artistic experience of printed and framed pieces. His first coffee-table book documenting a recent snowboarding trip to Alaska will be released winter 2023. Follow more of Keegan’s work on Instagram @Keeganrice.
