“It was my first day in Asahidake, Japan, fresh off the plane and insanely stoked to see the amount of snow there. We were driving around looking for backcountry options and there just happened to be some rope in the van, used to pull it out of a parking lot when we got it stuck. Dan Liedahl and Beau decided to skitch behind the van while Tanner McCarty drove, Jake Durham filmed, I shot photos and Pat Moore laughed his ass off.
