“Former creative director at Burton Snowboards Jared Eberhardt packed Tyvek suits and safety vests all the way from Vermont to Valle Nevado, Chile, with a vision of this shot. On the deck are legends such as Kevin Zacher and Jeff Curtes. Jared himself is sporting the Polaroid SX-70 camera on the lower left side. I think he was making fun of the pro pileups that happen at photo shoots where everyone crowds onto the first hit to capture the stock shot. I felt the best angle was to pull back from the actual action and tell the bigger story about all the characters in the white suits. I got lucky and this shot of Trevor Andrew, aka Gucci Ghost, made the cover of Burton’s 2000 product catalog.”
